How to Save Money by Joining a Food Co-op
Are rising grocery costs putting the pinch on your budget?

BriarPatch named Green Seafood Grocer by Greenpeace

http://www.greenpeace.org/usa/campaigns/oceans/seafood

“We’re proud to be the only local store to receive this honor from Greenpeace,” said Jeff Molsberry, BriarPatch Meat Manager. “Shoppers can buy seafood here knowing that it is less harmful to the oceans’ health.”

BriarPatch received an eight out of ten in its sustainability standards, based on both wild-caught and farmed seafoods. No store in California scored higher than an eight. Whole Foods Market received a five, Wal-Mart and Safeway received threes, Costco a two, and Trader Joe’s received one out of ten points.

Ask for a GO CO-OP wristband!

As a small token of our appreciation for your patronage, we're giving BriarPatch shoppers "Go Co-op!" wristbands, inspired by LiveStrong wristbands. Ours are made in California of silicone, are adult-sized and teal in color. Just ask for one at the Customer Service window. (While supplies last.)
